Prof. Opoku-Agyemang Enstooled as Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I at Komenda Nyeyi Festival

Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has been enstooled as Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I by the chiefs and people of the Komenda Traditional Area.

The honour was bestowed during the 2025 Komendaman Nyeyi Festival, held on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Her stool name, Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I, signifies recognition of her outstanding contributions to education, national development, and her dedication to leadership and service.

The colourful ceremony featured rich cultural displays, traditional drumming, and dance, as the people of Komenda formally welcomed her as both a leader and a partner in development.

The chiefs commended the Vice President for her commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians and expressed optimism that her enstoolment would strengthen collaboration between traditional authorities and the state.
