Mahama Heads to Paris for Global Peace Talks

President John Mahama has touched down in Paris to join world leaders and policymakers for the 8th Edition of the Paris Peace Forum, taking place from October 29–30, 2025.

The annual gathering, known for fostering dialogue on global cooperation and conflict resolution, is expected to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges—from climate instability to geopolitical tensions.

Following the forum, Mahama will jet off to Cairo, Egypt, where he’ll attend the highly anticipated opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The Ghanaian leader is set to return home on Sunday, November 2, 2025, wrapping up a week of high-level international engagement and diplomacy.
