Residents of Kwabenya Comet in Accra have been left in shock after an Okada rider was discovered dead with his throat slit in what appears to be a violent attack.
The gruesome incident, reported late Friday, has intensified concerns about rising insecurity in the area. It comes just months after Immigration Officer Stephen Amoah was killed under similar circumstances in the same community.
Locals say the recurring violent crimes have created a climate of fear, with many residents calling for urgent and sustained police intervention to protect lives and restore order.
The Ghana Police Service has since launched investigations into the killing. However, no arrests have yet been made.
