ECG to Embark on Nationwide “ALL MUST PAY” Revenue Mobilisation Campaign

The Management and Union of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have announced the launch of a nationwide revenue mobilisation drive dubbed “Operation ALL MUST PAY,” aimed at recovering outstanding arrears from customers across the country.

The campaign is scheduled to run from Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 25, 2025.

Dr. Charles Nii Ayiku Ayiku, ECG’s General Manager of External Communication, shared key details of the initiative.

“This campaign targets all categories of customers — residential, commercial, industrial, and government institutions. Special task teams will be deployed to enforce compliance and monitor for illegal connections or unauthorized power reconnections,” Dr. Ayiku stated.

He emphasized that non-payment of bills remains a significant obstacle to ECG’s financial sustainability, and the company is committed to ensuring that all debts are settled. Customers are strongly encouraged to make timely payments to avoid disconnection and the added burden of reconnection fees.

Dr. Ayiku also advised customers to utilize the official ECG Mobile App for secure transactions and cautioned against fraudulent individuals promoting fake payment platforms.

“The ALL MUST PAY campaign is critical to strengthening ECG’s financial position and enhancing service delivery. It will help ensure a stable and reliable electricity supply across the nation,” he added.

During the campaign, ECG teams will also carry out meter integrity inspections and engage with customers to resolve operational concerns.

Customers are urged to settle any outstanding balances promptly to avoid service interruptions. For secure payments, customers should use the ECG Mobile App, available on the Google Play Store, or contact the ECG Call Centre for assistance.

For more updates and information, customers are encouraged to visit the ECG website or follow their official social media platforms.
