Ablekuma North Rerun: Security Plans in Place

The Accra Regional Police Command has assured residents of Ablekuma North of robust security arrangements ahead of the parliamentary rerun election scheduled for Friday, July 11, 2025.

In a statement signed by Superintendent Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs, the Command emphasized its readiness to provide adequate security before, during, and after the electoral process.

The Electoral Commission has designated 19 polling stations for the rerun. Police personnel will be stationed at all locations to ensure peace, law, and order are maintained throughout.

Additionally, the police will monitor vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the vicinity of polling centres. Strategic barriers will be set up to prevent unauthorized access.

The Command is calling on the public to cooperate fully with officers, follow electoral regulations, and support efforts to maintain a peaceful environment.

Members of the public are urged to report any suspicious individuals or activity by calling “18555” or “192”.
