Two Arrested Over Viral TikTok Video Threatening Mahama, First Lady

The Ghana Police Service has arrested two individuals in connection with a viral TikTok video containing threats against  President John Dramani Mahama and the First Lady, according to a statement released by the Ghana Police Service.

The video, which has drawn widespread attention on social media, features audio remarks that police say constitute a credible threat to the lives of the former head of state and his spouse. In response, law enforcement officials have launched a broader investigation aimed at identifying all individuals involved in the creation and dissemination of the video.

The two suspects, identified as Prince Ofori and Yayra Abiwu, are currently in police custody and are cooperating with investigators. Authorities say additional arrests may follow as they continue efforts to locate others believed to be connected to the incident
