Security agencies inspect venue ahead of NPP National Delegates’ Conference

In a bid to ensure the safety and security of participants at the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Delegates’ Conference, key security agencies have commenced a monitoring tour of the event venue.

Personnel from the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service, along with members of the party’s Organising Committee, on Friday, July 18, inspected the University of Ghana Sports Complex, the designated venue for the conference scheduled for Saturday, July 19.

The team undertook the joint exercise to assess and approve the security arrangements and evaluate the overall preparedness for the event.

Their presence reaffirmed the party’s earlier pledge to deliver a peaceful and well-coordinated national gathering.

Adom News reporter Kofi Akowuah Twum, who covered the inspection, reported that the security agencies closely monitored adherence to safety protocols and assessed whether the facility met the required standards to host such a high-profile event.

The NPP expects its National Delegates’ Conference to attract participants from across the country, including party executives, former government appointees, and delegates, as they prepare for key decisions ahead of the 2028 general elections.
