President Mahama to Host National Media Forum on September 10

President John Dramani Mahama is set to host a high-level media briefing on Wednesday, September 10, at the seat of government, in what is expected to be a widely watched address on the country’s political and economic direction.

The encounter, scheduled for 8:00 p.m. local time, will bring together accredited journalists from across the country and marks one of Mahama’s most significant media engagements since returning to office.

According to a statement released Monday by presidential spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the event will provide a platform for the president to respond to questions from the press and communicate directly with citizens through the media. Key topics will include the administration’s “Resetting Ghana Agenda,” along with updates on current policy initiatives and development projects.

“The Presidency looks forward to a productive and engaging session with the media,” the statement said, noting that access will be limited to accredited participants to ensure a controlled and orderly environment.

The media encounter comes at a time of heightened public scrutiny and economic recalibration in Ghana, and is expected to draw national attention as the administration outlines its strategy for navigating the country’s complex challenges.
