Ghana’s Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has been confirmed as the Special Guest of Honour and keynote speaker for the upcoming 2025 Mining & Minerals Convention, set to take place from August 26 to 27 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.
The announcement was made by the Office of the Chief of Staff, confirming that Mr. Debrah will deliver the opening address, where he is expected to outline government’s renewed commitment to responsible mining, sustainability, local value retention, and efforts to position Ghana as Africa’s leading gold hub.
His keynote will officially kick off the two-day event, which is themed:
“Shaping the Future of Ghana’s Gold Industry.”
