The Ghana Education Service (GES) has reassured teachers across the country amid growing concerns about the ongoing registration process for the 2025 promotion exercise.
In a statement released on Thursday, August 21, GES acknowledged two major issues raised by educators: the eligibility of applicants, particularly those whose last promotion or appointment was in or before 2021, and the technical challenges faced by many teachers while accessing the online application portal.
GES clarified that the exercise is open to all eligible teachers and no one will be left out.
“The application is open to all teachers who received their last promotion or appointment in or before 2021,” the Service stated.
Addressing the widespread technical difficulties that have caused frustration among applicants, GES assured teachers that the online platform is currently undergoing upgrades to enhance its functionality. Teachers experiencing challenges have been urged to remain calm as the issues are being resolved.
“The Management takes full responsibility for the technical challenge and will solve it,” the statement added.
The Service further reiterated its commitment to transparency, fairness, and credibility in the promotion process, stressing that no teacher due for promotion will be excluded.
“No teacher due for promotion will be left behind,” GES concluded.
