Chief of Staff Julius Debrah Rallies Corporate Ghana Ahead of Joy Sports Invitational 2025

Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has called on corporate leaders across the country to take part in the 2025 Joy Sports Invitational Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, August 9, at the University of Ghana Stadium.

In a statement ahead of the event, Mr. Debrah described sports, health, and wellness as essential to building a productive workforce and a healthy nation. He praised the Multimedia Group for sustaining what he called a “remarkable tradition,” as the tournament coincides with the media company’s 30th anniversary.

“This year’s tournament is not just about competition,” he said. “It is about celebrating excellence, fostering camaraderie, and strengthening the partnerships that define Corporate Ghana.”

Encouraging leaders from across industries to participate, Mr. Debrah urged CEOs, Managing Directors, and Institutional Heads to rally their teams and energize their staff for the event. Known as an advocate for health and fitness, he also revealed that he is preparing to deliver the ceremonial kick-off on the day.

“A healthy workforce is a high-performing one,” he emphasized. “As leaders, we must inspire our teams not only in the boardroom but also on the field—where camaraderie, wellness, and excellence thrive.”

The Joy Sports Invitational has become a flagship event on Ghana’s corporate sports calendar. This year’s edition is expected to be particularly symbolic, promoting unity, teamwork, and wellness as pillars of national progress.
