Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has described Mohammed Kudus as a “great signing” following the Ghana midfielder’s move from West Ham United.
Kudus joined Spurs in a deal reported to be worth £55 million and has signed a five-year contract with the North London club.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Frank praised the club’s swift action in securing the 23-year-old early in the pre-season.
“I think it’s a great signing from the club,” he said. “It’s top work from Daniel Levy getting a very good player early in pre-season, so we can start working with him.”
Frank highlighted Kudus’ attacking flair and versatility as key strengths that will add “unpredictability” to Tottenham’s play.
“His one-on-one actions are top, his passes are top, and his finishing is very good. He is at the perfect age to perform and take it to the next level,” Frank added.
Kudus has already joined the squad for training and is expected to feature in Tottenham’s pre-season friendly against Reading later today.
The Ghana international enjoyed a standout season with West Ham before making the switch to Spurs, and expectations are high as he begins a new chapter in the Premier League
