Ghana international Thomas Partey has officially begun training with Villarreal ahead of the 2025/26 season, just a day after completing his move to the Spanish La Liga side.
The midfielder joined the Yellow Submarine on Thursday, August 7, as a free agent following his departure from Arsenal. He has signed a one-year contract with an option to extend for a further year, marking his return to Spanish football after leaving Atlético Madrid in 2020.
Within 24 hours of finalising the deal, the Black Stars vice-captain was already on the training pitch, working alongside his new teammates in preparation for the upcoming campaign.
