The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has extended the application deadline for the 2024/2025 academic year under its flagship ‘No Fees Stress’ policy.
In a press statement issued on Thursday, July 31, the Fund announced that the new deadline for students to submit applications for academic fee support is now Thursday, August 7, 2025.
“This extension provides applicants with additional time to complete their submissions,” the SLTF stated.
The Fund, however, emphasized that this would be the final extension. “Please note that this is the FINAL EXTENSION, and the deadline will NOT be extended further after August 7, 2025,” the statement warned.
All eligible students are being strongly encouraged to take advantage of the revised timeline. “We urge qualified applicants to submit their documents on or before the deadline to benefit from the ‘No Fees Stress’ policy,” the Fund added.
The SLTF reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring accessible and timely financial support for Ghanaian tertiary students. “We remain dedicated to easing the financial burden on students and promoting equitable access to higher education,” the statement concluded.
