The Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations has called on religious leaders nationwide to formally submit any prophecy or spiritual insight of national significance for urgent review.
In a statement issued on Sunday, August 10, 2025, Presidential Envoy Elvis Afriyie Ankrah said the directive applies specifically to prophecies concerning high-profile political leaders, governance, national security, or public stability.
According to the statement, the move is aimed at promoting responsibility, discernment, and proper stewardship over the nation’s destiny, particularly during a period of uncertainty.
The Office also appealed for fervent prayers for the President, government, state institutions, bereaved families, and the nation, following the recent helicopter crash that claimed the lives of government officials, military personnel, and NDC party executives.
It further reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working closely with faith leaders to ensure peace and prosperity in Ghana.
