Global InfoAnalytics defends integrity amid criticism over recent NPP internal election poll results.

The head of a leading Ghanaian research firm is pushing back against allegations of political bias, saying recent polling data showing former Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia ahead in the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) presidential primary race reflects the will of the electorate—not the views of the pollsters.

Mussa Dankwah, Executive Director and Head of Global Research at Global InfoAnalytics, said his organization is committed to presenting unfiltered data, regardless of the political implications. "Sometimes I do a poll and I don’t feel well about it, but that is not my view—it is the view of the people," Dankwah said Tuesday during an interview at the International Hausa Day celebration in Kumasi. “We have no interest in declaring somebody a winner or a loser.”

Global InfoAnalytics is expected to release new projections Friday for the Akwatia by-election, another closely watched political event.

Speaking at the Hausa Day event, hosted by the Zongo-Hausa Youth Association under the auspices of the Sarkin Zango Palace, Dankwah also addressed broader social issues. He called on Ghanaians to end the stigma often directed at people with Hausa names, warning that discrimination
