Arriving in Accra on Monday, August 11, 2025, President Vila Nova paid a solemn visit to the Ceremonial Garden at the Presidency. There, he laid a floral tribute in honour of the victims and inscribed a message of condolence in the official book.

The visit reflects the solidarity and support of the international community during this period of national grief.
